Upper U.S. Midwest Organic Grain and FeedstuffsDES MOINES - Dec 19/07 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.
Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 12/15/2007
Organic grain and feedstuff prices higher compared to two weeks
ago. Coarse grain prices higher on moderate offerings and good demand. Small

There was good demand on light offerings for feedstuffs this week. As the
year of record prices comes to a close, producers lock in grain prices with
yearend sales. There is lots of interest between producers and users in old
crop, along with contracting new crop. Reports of new crop corn being
contracted for 9.00-9.50, new crop beans contracts 20.00-22.00 per bushel.
Monthly and 3rd quarter average prices located below. All prices FOB the
farm and negotiated spot market.
