Eastern U.S. Organic Grain and Feedstuffs

SPRINGFIELD - Feb 13/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Eastern Cornbelt Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 02/9/2008

Organic grain and feedstuff prices were steady to higher compared
to two weeks ago. Tight supplies and lack of producer selling
helped to strengthen soybean prices. Corn and wheat prices were
steady to firm on moderate demand. With the South American harvest
slightly behind schedule many end users will be searching longer for
available soybean ingredients. Reports of buyers backing off due to
higher organic prices weakened demand.
Monthly and 4th quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
