Smaller Rise in Sugar Ending StocksWASHINGTON - Apr 9/08 - SNS -- Smaller sugar crop harvests in the United States this season will result in a modest decline in available stocks this season, according to the latest supply and demand update from the USDA's World Agricultural Outlook Board. Projected 2007-08 U.S. sugar supply is decreased 28,000 short tons, raw value, from last month, due to lower production.
