DES MOINES - Jun 3/09 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.


Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending      05/30/09

Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were mostly
steady on light demand and offerings with slow market activity.  Organic
producers have been busy with planting and have not shown much interest in
selling at this point.  Some replanting has taken place with conventional
soybeans due to cold weather and emergence problems.  Demand for feed grade
and food grade soybeans continues to be strong as producers hold out for
higher prices.  Monthly and first quarter average prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
