Canada's Weekly Exports Total 694,700 MT

WINNIPEG - Jul 9/09 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 29,171,300 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,690,000 MT from the 26,481,300 moved last year.

The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending July 5.

Grower deliveries during the week included 340,200 MT of wheat; 90,100 MT of durum; 38,700 MT of oats; 75,300 MT of barley; 8,100 MT of flax; 205,000 MT of canola; 16,700 MT of peas; and 5,700 MT of corn.

The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 694,700 MT. On the grain side this included including 318,600 MT of wheat; 108,800 MT of durum; 32,500 MT of oats; 3,200 MT of barley; and no corn.
