Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 10/03/2009
Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuffs traded unevenly
steady. Organic feed grade corn and beans traded steady to 1.25 lower.
Demand and offerings were light to moderate. Trading activity was slow to
moderate. Buyers and producers are looking forward to the upcoming organic
corn and soybean harvest with hopes that it will shed some light on market
conditions and lead to an increase in organic grain demand.
August monthly and 2nd quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
