Canada's Weekly Exports Total 527,300 MT

WINNIPEG - Feb 6/10 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 14,031,700 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 186,400 MT from the 14,218,100 moved last year.

The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending January 31.

Grower deliveries during the week included 338,500 MT of wheat; 52,300 MT of durum; 24,100 MT of oats; 44,800 MT of barley; 9,200 MT of flax; 206,800 MT of canola; 26,100 MT of peas; and 5,200 MT of corn.

The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 527,300 MT. On the grain side this included including 326,600 MT of wheat; 13,200 MT of durum; 14,000 MT of oats; 13,100 MT of barley; and 100 MT of corn.
