Upper U.S. Midwest Organic Grain and FeedstuffsDES MOINES - Feb 24/10 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.
Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending 02/20/10
Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuff prices were slightly
lower with light demand and offerings, while feed grade soybeans traded
mostly steady with similar demand. Soybean splits were reported $15-$16 per
bushel, and barley trade was very slow. A strong interest in grain trade
was noted. Moisture and low test weights continue to have the greatest
impact on the Upper Midwest grain markets. Monthly and fourth quarter
average prices are located below. All prices FOB the farm and negotiated
spot market.
