Canada's Weekly Exports Total 742,500 MT
WINNIPEG - Feb 26/10 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 15,747,500 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 200,800 MT from the 15,948,300 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending February 21.
Grower deliveries during the week included 333,500 MT of wheat; 57,000 MT of durum; 35,400 MT of oats; 65,400 MT of barley; 11,100 MT of flax; 209,000 MT of canola; 12,800 MT of peas; and 4,600 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 742,500 MT. On the grain side this included including 482,700 MT of wheat; 69,300 MT of durum; 15,300 MT of oats; 10,600 MT of barley; and no corn.
